GressenhallGressenhall

To round off their Victorian topic the Key Stage Two children are visiting Gressenhall Workhouse on Wednesday 28th March. They will be experiencing life on a Victorian farm, in the Workhouse and the Victorian school.

All the children are looking forward to their Victorian Market Week, which starts on Monday March 19th. This includes the recreation of a Victorian market in our school hall, to which parents are invited.

Welcome to our school

Bildeston is an active village community offering a range of facilities. The school is a primary co-educational day school for children 4-11 years of age, with 121 pupils on roll at the time of the January 2011 school census.

We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac away from the main road, which provides us with a peaceful, safe environment.

Bildeston Primary belongs to the Hadleigh Pyramid of schools and serves the parishes of Bildeston, Hitcham, Wattisham, Nedging and Naughton.

At the start of the Autumn Term following their 11th birthday our children transfer to secondary school. Most go to Hadleigh High School.
